With the view to widely cover the ongoing activities aimed at protection of the environment, effective nature management and achievement of sustainable development of Turkmenistan and raise awareness of a broad readership about environmental issues, the President of Turkmenistan issued the Resolution authorizing the Ministry of Nature Protection of Turkmenistan to establish the Journal of Ecological Culture and Environmental Protection as a self-financed legal entity in accordance with the established procedure.

In accordance with the Resolution the Journal of Ecological Culture and Environmental Protection is to be published quarterly in Turkmen, Russian and English starting in March 2013.
