Methodological-information seminar entitled “Economy of modern hotel. International experience and its application in Turkmenistan” was held in the conference hall of luxurious hotel “Hazyna” in the National Tourist Zone “Avaza”.


The training course was held for executives of the seaside resort within the framework of educational courses organized by the United State Agency for International Development (USAID) and International Social Organization Junior Achievement Worldwide with support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, State Committee of Turkmenistan for Tourism. The international experts and specialists in the field of tourism and hospitality industry, including partner-manager of “Promenc Group” Consulting Company, Director of St. Petersburg “Trezzini” art hotel Anna Shishkina were invited as the teachers for seminar.

Leadership of the hotels of Avaza – directors and their deputies for financial and commercial activity took part in the work of the seminar. In the positive atmosphere of interested discussion, it was considered the mechanisms of increase of economic return of the hotel complexes and held the practical training sessions on fixing traversed material.
