A regular fifth day of the Week of Health and Happiness was very rich in numerous mass events.
The fifth hockey tournament started on the ice arenas of the Turkmen capital with participation of six teams. HC Oguzkhan and HC Galkan gaining two victories each will play in the final on April 6.
The final of Turkmenistan’s Indoor Soccer Championship among veterans of this kind of sports – from 45 years old and elder were played on new sport field of the first micro district of the Turkmen capital. The Ashgabat team won the title. The team of Ahal Velayat won the second place and Balkan Velayat team won the third place.
Ashgabat Rhythmic Gymnastics Cup took place at the Ashgabat Sports and Health Improving Complex. A big colorful show programme prepared by masters of the Korean martial art – taekwondo (ITF version) was also held at a spacious hall of the complex.
On this day, the youth competitions on national kinds of sports, volleyball, basketball, football, handball were held in Balkan Velayat. The canoeing competitions were held on the seaway canal in the city of Turkmenbashi.
The Week of Health and Happiness was marked with opening of a new sports school in the centre of the oil-processing and energy industry of Lebap Velayat – the city of Seydi. On this day, the competitions on chess, checkers and duzzum were held among the specialists of the sphere of education in the administrative centre of Lebap Velayat. Thousands of followers of healthy life-style in Turkmenabat took part in 100-metre relay race and other sports events on the central highway in the city – Bitarap Turkmenistan Street.
This evening FC Balkan competed with the football team of the International Turkmen-Turkish University for the Turkmenistan Super Cup on the central stadium in Turkmenabat. FC ITTU defeated 4-3their rivals and won the honorary trophy for the third time.

Eight teams representing Mary and Bayramali, Karakum, Velikbazar and Sakarchaga Etraps competed in the Mary Velayat Judo Tournament among boys under 17. The track and field events were also held in the region this day.
