The ceremony of issuing new passports to hotels, health-improving, cultural and entertainment centres in Avaza took place at the conference hall of the Main department for the Avaza National Tourist Zone.
The State Committee for Tourism issues passports to sanatoriums and resort centres on instruction of the President of Turkmenistan with the aim to increase the level of services provided to the people of Turkmenistan and foreign guests spending their holidays in Avaza. Moreover, it is necessary for development of economically sound plans for further improve of the tourist zone, including attraction of additional investments.
At present, seventeen new facilities are built in Avaza. Among them are high-rise multifunctional hotels and luxury cottage complexes offering a wide range of services and best conditions for family holidays constructed at the request of almost all ministries and departments, the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, khyakimliks of Ashgabat and velayats. Some of them will be put into operation this year.
