A series of training seminars organized for hotel staffs of the Avaza national tourism zone by the State Committee for Tourism of Turkmenistan in cooperation with the Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency (TIKA) focuses on the introduction of international practices in Turkmenistan’s tourism industry.
The training programme includes a series of lectures on such themes as hotel management, hotel services, business communication psychology, national etiquette and master classes of foreign specialists.
Emphasis was placed on the importance of adopting advanced technologies in tourism business management, tourism market monitoring and improving the quality of services given the latest global trends and existing demand in this sphere.
The advanced training seminars for hotel staffs will last until June and held at the recreation centres in the seaside resort developing on the Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea and Turkmenbashi town, including Kuwwat, Kerwen, Hazyna, Watanci, Nebitci, Arzuw, Bereket, Turkmenbasi, Carlak, Sapak and Dayanc.
