The International Trade Fair, which has been organized for the first time in our country, and the V International Conference “Turkmen Horses and the World Art of Horse Breeding” opened in Ashgabat to mark Turkmen Horse Day. The exhibition and science conference that brought together participants from dozens of countries worldwide are aimed at providing the professional information on Turkmen horse breeding to the international community, enhancing partnership and adopting innovative technologies in the sphere of horse breeding and training in Turkmenistan.

The cabinet ministers, high-ranking officials of ministries and departments, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan and international organisations, representatives of public organisations, scientists and journalists attended the opening ceremony of the International Trade Fair. Among the guests are delegates of the III meeting of the International Ahalteke Horse Breeding Association and participants of the V International Conference “Turkmen Horses and the World Art of Horse Breeding”.
