The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Turkmenistan gave a briefing at the conference hall of the President Hotel in Ashgabat. The meeting agenda focused on the prospects for developing cooperation between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan within the framework of the Kazakhstan-2050 Strategy.
The representatives of ministries and departments of Turkmenistan, heads of the diplomatic missions accredited in our country as well as journalists were invited to attend the meeting.
Those present were briefed on the key areas of the foreign-policy course of Kazakhstan and informed on the successes achieved in the economic sector and the sphere of foreign relations.
According to Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Turkmenistan Orman Nurbaev, the relations between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan have achieved higher level thanks to intensive bilateral contacts between the two countries. That is vividly proved by the increased commodity turnover between our countries. It was underlined that Kazakhstan would strengthen cooperation with the Turkmen state.
Taking an opportunity, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Turkmenistan expressed gratitude to the Government of Turkmenistan for supporting a candidacy of the capital of Kazakhstan Astana to host the EXPO-2017 World Exposition.
