At IX International Contest on theoretical mechanics completed in Minsk, Republic of Belarus, the Turkmen students were awarded with three prestigious prizes – gold and two bonze medals. Nearly 150 students from 32 higher educational establishments of different world countries took part in it.
At the Contest in individual event, the third-year student of radio physics and electronics specialty of the physics faculty of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly M. Annayev became the winner of the gold medal, and the first-year student M. Malikov and third-year student P. Seyidov from this faculty were awarded with bronze medals.
In the team event, the group of students of the Turkmen State University won the third prize place. High level of the theoretical training and talent of Turkmen students was also confirmed in the course of “Brain-ring” being held within the framework of the International Contest. According to its results, the team of the Turkmen State University won the second prize place. These attainments are the evidence of successes of reforms in the national education system.
