The last week was rich in a number of national sports contests held within the framework of qualification tournaments dedicated to the forthcoming Victory Day. Among them are the Open Junior Hockey Championship and Weightlifting Championship of Turkmenistan. The winners of these tournaments will participate in the 27th World Students Games this summer in Kazan (the Russia Federation). The winners of the Open Championship of the High Sports School of Turkmenistan for Greco-Roman Wrestling will represent our country at the Asian Championship in Mongolia this July and World Championship in Sweden in September.
