Group of Ashgabat alpinists effected an ascent of the peak of Koytendag mountain ridge - Ayrybaba mountain. The mountain climbers overcame this complicated mountain route on May 9 in honor of the Victory Day. As a good tradition, the State Flag of Turkmenistan has been hoisted on the mountain peak.

The experienced mountaineers as well as mountain tourists, who first participated in subjugation of such peak, took part in the ascent of the highest point of the rock formation of Turkmenistan.

This action was organized by the “Agama” alpinist club with assistance of the personnel of the State Koytendag Nature Reserve and Ministry of Nature Protection of Turkmenistan.
