The second round of the Premier League Championship started with a match between FC Altyn Asyr and FC Shagadam at the Olympic Stadium in Ashgabat. FC Shagadam won 2-0.

Having won the victory, FC Altyn Asyr gained 16 points. FC Ahal has the same number of points. ITTU and FC Merv with 18 points each lead in the tournament.

The tenth round starts on May 15 with matches between FC Bagtyyarlyk-Lebap – FC Merv, FC Ashgabat - ITTU and FC Talyp Sporty – FC Ahal.
