Celebration in honor of six-year-old chess player Bagul Ezizova was held in the school of Olympic Reserve of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for sports.
As it was informed, this still young devotee of intellectual games won a triumphal victory in the World Chess Championship among schoolchildren under 7 years old held from May 6 to 15 in Khalkidiki (Greece).
It is worth mentioning that the pupil of Ashgabat chess sport school of the City Sports Committee Bagul Ezizova gained in the World Championship the first gold medal for our country in the age group under 7 years old.
In the foyer of the school of the Olympic Reserve, the unexpected surprise awaited Bagul in the form of large chess board with chessmen equal to the height of this young athlete as well as showing of simultaneous game with her classmates from the chess sport school.
Having provided a master-class, Bagul with her parents and coach Serdar Annaberdiyev made the way to the gym of the school, where it was prepared for them a show program with participation of the artists of variety art and exercise performances of boys and girls, who train in the sections of martial arts – taekwondo and karate-do as well as pupils of the capital’s sport school of gymnastics.
Upon completion of breathtaking performance, the guests were welcomed by the workers of the State and City Sports Committee, leading Turkmen coaches and sportsmen with storm of applauses in the conference hall.
