An International scientific and practical conference dedicated to Turkmenistan’s experience in building a legal state took place at the Institute of International Relations under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The deputies of the National Parliament, Government officials, the elders, heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Turkmenistan, representatives of authoritative international and regional organisations, parliaments of a number of foreign states, mass media as well as scientists, experts in politics, public figures, university professors and students were invited to take part in a representative forum organized by the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Political Council of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan and other public organisations on occasion of the 21st anniversary of the Constitution of Turkmenistan. IOM Regional Coordinator for Central Asia, Mr. Dejan Keserovic, UN Resident Coordinator/UNDP Resident Representative for Turkmenistan Ms. Jacinta Barrins, Representative of Romania to the European Parliament. Mr. Nicolai Norica, Representative of Bulgaria to the European Parliament. Mr. Metin Kazak, and others were invited to the forum as the guests of honour.
Upon completion of the plenary session, the conference continued with four sections at the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, Magtymguly Turkmen State University, the Institute of International Relations under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice of Turkmenistan.
