The national Thai boxing men’s qualification tournaments took place at the Galkynysh Sports Complex. More than 100 wrestlers of various martial arts from all regions of the country and the Turkmen capital competed for the right to represent Turkmenistan at the IV Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games. Ashgabat sportsmen ranked the first, wrestlers from Lebap won the second place and representatives of Dashoguz Velayat ranked the third.


As is known, on June 29 – July 7, Incheon (the Republic of Korea) will host the IV Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games. During the closing ceremony, the Asian Games Flag will be passed to Turkmenistan that will host the sports forum in 2017.
