New sport facilities have been put into exploitation in Mary and Dashoguz provinces.
So, new sports complex with stadium for 1500 seats was put into operation in the administrative center of etrap named after Gurbansoltan eje of Dashoguz province. Besides stadium, it also includes outdoor tennis courts, basketball and volleyball pitches, and ground for indoor soccer. In the stadium, there are also a hotel, first-aid post, room for referees, training room, shower cubicles, rooms for administrative personnel and mini-café.
Two new sport schools for 365 pupils have been put into exploitation earlier in this etrap – in its administrative center and in Menish village of Rejepguly Atayev gengeshlik. In the near future, another sport school for 350 pupils, which is under construction today, will be put into exploitation as well.
Sport school for 365 pupils was opened in Mary along Seydi Street. Planning of the building, its equipment, large gym with total area of one thousand square meters allows conducting simultaneously the trainings and tournaments on various kinds of sports. There is also 25-meter long and 12.5-meter wide swimming pool with stands for spectators. Two training gyms and separate room with gym apparatuses are also at the service of schoolchildren. All necessary conditions are created in the school for sportsmen, coaches, board of referees. There are also first-aid post and shower cubicles. Up-to-date technical equipment will provide optimality of temperature in the rooms in any season of the year.
Within the last years, such modern sport schools and complexes have been opened in Mary, Bairamali, Sakarchage, Garagum and other etraps of Mary province.
