The 15th Football Championship of Turkmenistan among clubs of major league started in the capital with two matches.
Both games took place in the multifunctional “Ashgabat” stadium. In the first of them, the football players of “Ashgabat” won convincing victory over “Dashoguz” – 5:0. In other match, the team of the National Institute of Sports and Tourism “Talyp sporty” won a victory over “Bagtiyarlyk-Lebap” – 2:1.
The football players of the International Turkmen-Turkish University are in the lead in the Football Championship. They accumulated 31 points after 14 games. It is 3 points less than capital’s “Altyn asyr” after 13 matches. After current victory, “Ashgabat” has 27 points and closes the prize top three.
The 15th round of the national football championship will be completed on June 1 with matches: “Altyn asyr” – “Balkan”, “Shagadam” – “Merv” and “Akhal” – ITTU.
