One of the special events in the life of the Turkmen State Institute of Transport and Communications in 2012-2013 academic years became the creation of the Council of young scientists. This new structure of the higher educational establishment focuses on exposure of the talented students and their involvement into scientific activity. According to its status, the Council is also urged to render support to young scientists of the higher educational institution in conduction of scientific researches.

Under its aegis, the colleagues-like-minded persons generate and realize the innovative scientific elaborations. The students are also among their authors. So, for example, the result of joint work of the students and young scientists of the institute became the designed pickup and transmitting antennas intended for signal multiplication and increase the distance range of wireless data-transmission networks. The council also became the initiator of elaboration of new monitoring method of means of transport, which is oriented on improvement of traffic safety.

Another software product of the Turkmen State Institute of Transport and Communications became the electronic document management system, which was awarded with the certificate of authorship from the State Intellectual Property Service of Turkmenistan. The elaboration of remote control systems is among the research works, being realized under the aegis of the Council of young scientists. Software support for remote control of electronic apparatuses by means of computer technique is a bright example of it.

By the way, the computer technologies department carries out a work at creation of geo-information systems for the transport sector of Turkmenistan. The specialists of the Ministry of Motor Transport of the country familiarized with them. They were very interested in this unique scientific project and issued a special document on possibility of introduction of this system into transport sector.

The currency of the scientific activity of the Turkmen State Institute of Transport and Communications is testified with the fact that towards academic year, the young teacher of the higher educational establishment – author of one of the scientific projects connected with elaboration of passive cooling method for microelectronic circuits was awarded with the title of laureate of the International Scientific Contest held by the International Academy of Communications. It is also worth mentioning that this proposal was provided with patent for invention from the State Intellectual Property Service.

Of course, vivid confirmation of high significance of scientific elaborations, being carried out at the Turkmen State Institute of Transport and Communications under the aegis of the Council of young scientists, became the joint victory of the representatives of this higher educational establishment in the state contest of research works among young scientists and students, which results were summed up on the eve of the Science Day.
