The headquarters of the United Nations Organization informed that with unanimous support of 193 member states of the UNO, Turkmenistan was elected for vice presidency at the 68th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations Organization.
In connection with this event, a briefing for representatives of the national and foreign mass media was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The diplomatic staff of Turkmenistan, heads of the Embassies of the foreign countries with the residence in our country, representatives of these Embassies, heads of the missions of the international organizations, teachers and students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, scientists and specialists also took part in it.
As it was noted, election of Turkmenistan for vice presidency of the largest forum of planetary scale undoubtedly became a regular bright evidence of recognition of the rapidly growing international authority of our country.
