A special issue of the Syyahat journal published by the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Tourism is dedicated to the Avaza National tourism zone. The issue appeared in print on the eve of the Week of Culture to be celebrated on the Caspian coast provided the review of the key areas of development of the sea resort as a main tourism centre and unique area of international activity, business and cultural life of the country.




The favourable geographic location and climate, transport availability and modern infrastructure make Avaza one of the most attractive places for hosting large events of the national and international level, significant meetings, negotiations and forums in the political and economic areas, creative festivals and sports events.

The special issue tells about the national traditions of hospitality, investment partnership, creation of modern recreation zone and conditions for recreation on the Caspian coast as well as rich cultural environment.

An advertising pamphlet “Welcome to Avaza!” and a book entitled “Avaza is a pearl of tourism” were published for the Week of Culture on the Caspian coast in three languages. Another publication – “Turkmenistan is the country of tourism” presents a spectrum of tourist potential of our country.
