Tens teams from various world countries continue to arrive in the capital of Tatarstan, Russian Federation – Kazan, where solemn opening ceremony of XXVII World Summer Student Games will be held on July 6. This largest sport forum will be first held with participation of athletes from Turkmenistan.
The day before, the Turkmen delegation, which includes over 100 persons, was hospitably and cordially welcomed in the International Airport “Kazan”.
It will be recalled that the Turkmen sportsmen at World Student Games – 2013 will perform in ten kinds of program - boxing, weight-lifting, chess, tennis, track and field, judo, sambo, belt wrestling, freestyle and Greco-roman wrestling.
Today, our athletes conducted the first trainings on sport bases of the capital of Tatarstan. On July 3, solemn rising of the flag of Turkmenistan will be held in the Village of World Student Games.
