On June 6, the flame of XXVII World Summer Student Games will blaze up in the capital of Tatarstan, Russian Federation. This sport forum hosts once in two years the best representatives of the world student sports. It is worth mentioning that this event will open new page in the history of the national sports, because, it will be this place – Kazan, where début of the Turkmen athletes will be held in the World Student Games.


The Turkmen sportsmen, who live in the Village of the World Student Games, stay in Kazan already four days and had time to acclimatize fully within this period. The teacher of physiology department, dean of the sport medicine faculty of the Turkmen State Medical University Batyr Gurbanguliyev watches over their health and physical state every day. In the last days before the start, the athletes intensively train, preparing for responsible competitions.

The task of the Turkmen athletes in the Asian Games is to raise the authority and prestige of the national sports as high as possible.
