Turkmen sportsmen won three medals of the IV Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Incheon. International Master of Sports Nurali Yalkapov won a gold medal in kurash wrestling in under 90-kg weight category. Serdar Djummiev (under 81-kg weight category) won a silver medal and Shohrat Hallyev (under 63.5-kg weight category) from Ashgabat won a bronze medal. Another kick-boxer from Ashgabat Kurban Bekhanov (under 57-kg weight category) gained victory in the semifinal.


International Master of Sports Nasiba Surkieva will compete in kurash wrestling tournament starting on July 6.

The official ceremony of closing the IV Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games will take place on July 6. Within the framework of the ceremony, the flag of the Olympic Council of Asia will be handed over from Incheon to Ashgabat that will host the V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in 2017.
