In accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, the monetary prizes were awarded to the winners of the IV Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Incheon, the Republic of Korea.
Fourth-year students of the National Institute of Sports and Tourism of Turkmenistan Nurali Yalkapov, who won the first place and gold medal in the kurash wrestling event in 90-kg weight category, and Gurban Beghanov, who won the first place and gold medal in kick boxing in 57-kg weight category received US$ 10,000 each.
Students of the National Institute of Sports and Tourism Muhammet Temirov (73-kg weight category) and Serdar Djummyev (81-kg weight category) as well as representatives of the High Sports Schools of Turkmenistan Ayna Djumakulyeva (52-kg weight category) and Nasiba Surkieva, who won the silver medals, received US$ 5,000.
A student of the Complex Sports School of the Ashgabat Municipal Committee for Sports Shohrat Hallyev (63.5-kg), who won the third place and bronze medal, received US$ 3,000.
The monetary awards were allocated from the Charitable Foundation of the President of Turkmenistan.
