The group of Turkmen sportsmen returned home from the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan – Kazan (the Russian Federation) that hosted the XXVII World Student Games on July 6-17. Participating in such a representative sports forum, our athletes won 14 medals, including two gold medals, three silver and nine bronze medals. The solemn ceremony of awarding the Turkmen sportsmen took place in the conference hall of the National Institute of Tourism and Sports of Turkmenistan. On behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, valuable prizes and monetary awards were presented to the winners.
