The ceremony of laying the foundation stone of a training centre and covered manege took place in the Ashgabat Equestrian Sports Complex. The new centre will train sportsmen in various equestrian sports events and will become a platform for theoretical and practical classes for future horse breeders – students of the Turkmen Agricultural University.


Turkmen horse breeders, representatives of the agro-industrial complex of the country, including the Turkmen Atlary State Association, the elders, jockeys as well as numerous connoisseurs of Ahalteke horses and youth took part in the ceremony.

The new facilities will be built by specialists of the local private enterprise.
