The Sport TV Channel of the State Committee for Television, Radio and Cinematography of Turkmenistan was established. The decision to establish the 24-hour rolling sport TV channel was adopted during the recent government meeting. President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov issued the Resolution.

The Sport TV Channel will start to broadcast on January 1, 2012. Its major aim is to promote a healthy lifestyle, encourage young citizens of our country to practice sports and physical culture and bring Turkmen sport at the international level.
