Today, the 22nd Football Cup Tournament of Turkmenistan was started in the administrative center of Dashoguz province with the matches of outsiders of the country’s Championship – “Dashoguz” and “Bagtiyarlyk-Lebap” teams. In the current year, 10 teams of major league contend for the second honorable club trophy. Two of them entered the field from preliminary stage and others will start later.

In the first match of preliminary stage, “Bagtiyarlyk-Lebap” won a victory over “Dashoguz” - 2:0 and prior to return game to be held on August 4 in Turkmenabat, made a weighty bid for reaching the next lap of competitions.

The winner of this couple will meet in the next round of contests with “Ashgabat” team. The first game will be held on August 13 in the Turkmen capital and return game – on August 20 on the field of opponent.

Other teams of major league will start to compete for honorable trophy from quarterfinal, which matches will be held on September 3 and 24.

Owner of the Cup-2013 will be determined on October 28 in the final, which holding is timed to the 22nd anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence.
