Turkmen participants of the 54th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO -2013), which took place in Santa Marta, Colombia, returned Motherland with bronze medals.
Nearly 600 young mathematicians from over hundred world states competed for cherished awards of this annual intellectual testing of schoolchildren. The group of six pupils from Ashgabat represented the national team of our country at the International Mathematical Olympiad in Colombia.
Four of them became the bronze prize winners according to the results of quite complicated intellectual contest, which tasks covered different fields of school mathematics, mainly including geometry, theory of numbers, algebra and combinatorial analysis.
