The IV Turkmenistan-Russia Economic Forum organized by the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation in Belgorod continued its work. The agenda of the second day of the forum focused on the prospects of Turkmen-Russian cooperation in the spheres of science and education, healthcare and medical industry, power engineering, transport and communications and chemical industry. The forum provided the platform for bilateral meetings between representatives of the government agencies of Turkmenistan and the enterprises of Belgorod Oblast and other regions of the Russian Federation, during which potential investors put forward the proposals for cooperation.

In the afternoon, the members of the Turkmen delegation visited Shebekin Machine Building Plant Public Corporation, Belogorie Close Corporation, Energomash Close Corporation, Borisov plant, Energomash Stroi Holding company, Belgorodstroidetal Public Corporation, Izovol Close Corporation, Belogorie Confectionery Public Corporation, Slavyanka Confectionery Public Corporation. Forum participants also visited Belgorod Shukhov State Technology University where they got acquainted with activities of one of the leading higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation. It should also be noted that students from Turkmenistan study at this university. The members of the delegation visited the “Industrial Park. High Technology” International Innovation Centre. In this field, vast opportunities were opened up, taking account of the opening of the industrial park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan in 2014.
