Seminar opened today in the Turkmen capital was devoted to vital issues of practical use of international standards in the national system of financial reporting.

Leading specialists- accountants of the ministries and departments of our country were invited for the forum organized jointly with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Ministry of Finances of our country. The President of “Chevron Nebitgaz B.V. Turkmenistan” Company Hector Fahardo, who expressed the striving for further expansion of productive long-term partnership with our country, including in the field of efficient realization of large-scale reforms in the sphere of economy, also took part in the work of seminar.

As the seminar participants noted the bringing of the national accounting system and audit in compliance with the requirements of market economy as well as with international standards is an important condition to enter the world markets. In this connection, it was underlined the necessity of deep and professional study of the international practice by cooperation with the leading world financial structures, old and reliable partners of our country, including USAID.

Seminar will continue its work till September 6.
