Delegation of the representatives of Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) for democratic institutions and human rights, which is on a working visit in Turkmenistan, was received at the Parliament of Turkmenistan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Justice, Central Election Committee for conduct of elections and referenda in Turkmenistan.

The subject of interested view exchange became the prospective trends of cooperation in the context of drastic socio-economic programs and democratic reformations expanded in the country.

In the course of the meeting at the Parliament of Turkmenistan, the guests were familiarized with national election law. As it was underlined, having ratified basic international conventions, including in the field of human rights, Turkmenistan makes practical steps on realization of their provisions. At the meeting, the attention was also accentuated on importance of activities connected with the preparation for upcoming elections of deputies of the Parliament of Turkmenistan to be held in December of the current year.

Within the framework of visit to Turkmenistan, the delegation of OSCE representatives will be received at the Turkmen National Institute of Democracy and Human Rights at the President of Turkmenistan, National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan as well as Democratic Party of Turkmenistan, Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the country, Women’s Union, Turkmenistan’s Youth Organization named after Magtymguly.
