Members of the representative delegation at the head of deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Arkadiy Dvorkovich also visited the Winter Sports Palace. The member of the delegation Irina Rodnina – threefold champion of Olympic Games, deputy of the State Duma of RF, member of the Committee for ties with compatriots and CIS countries held a master-class on a large ice arena with young Turkmen figure skaters of the specialized “Olymp” school. Then, Irina Konstantinovna under applauses of participants brilliantly performed the exhibition dance on ice.

Having noted great successes attained by Turkmenistan within short period of time in the field of sports, Irina Rodnina spoke for continuation of practices of experience exchange in the field of skating. In this context, the famous athlete emphasized that she dreams about organization of the annual International Children’s Festival of dances on ice not only in Moscow but also in other countries, including in Turkmenistan.
