Today, additional matches were held at the International Football Tournament for the Cup of the President of Turkmenistan, being held in the Turkmen capital. According to the results of these matches, it was identified the teams, which gain the places from five to eight.
In the match for 7-8th places, the outsiders of group stage of the competitions – teams of Tajikistan and Kuwait have met in the multifunctional “Ashgabat” stadium. The football players of Kuwait played the last 10 minutes in minority, but it didn’t influence on change of drawn score – 1:1. Finally, the winners were determined in a series of 11-meter direct free kicks. The hero in it became goalkeeper of the team of Kuwait, who repulsed two penalty kicks and provided a victory for his team – 4:2. The boys of Kuwait finished on the 7th position and their peers from Tajikistan closed the group of eight teams of the tournament.
In the match for 5-6th place, the national team of Belarus convincingly got the better of the team of Iran – 6:2 and was in the top five of the tournament.

At 10:00, the teams of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan will meet in the match for the third place.
