The International Conference "Power Safety and Sustainable Development - the Future of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe" organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan will be held in Ashgabat on October 17-18.

In accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, the conference is held with the aim to implement the initiatives put forward by Turkmenistan to achieve the peace and sustainable development all over the world as well as to continue the development of the legal basis to ensure the power safety.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan was also instructed to work jointly with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to hold the conference at the high organizational level.
