The second meeting of the representatives of the Caspian region states will took place in Ashgabat on September 25-27. The meeting agenda will focus on the draft Agreement regulating cooperation of the Caspian states to prevent the natural and technogeneous emergency situations on the Caspian Sea and coastal area as well as to liquidate their effects. In accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, the meeting will be organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan jointly with the State Enterprise on the Caspian Sea Issues under the President of Turkmenistan.

The main goal of the meeting is to continue developing the legal basis of the mutual long-term cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Caspian states.
