It was held a meeting of intergovernmental Turkmen- Armenian committee on economic cooperation to take part in which a representative delegation at the head of the Minister of Energy and Natural resources of the Republic of Armenia Armen Movsisyan has arrived to the Turkmen capital.
meeting was participated by heads and leading specialists of number of ministries and agencies of two countries. It was discussed wide range of issues on practical realization of tasks of bilateral cooperation.
The meeting participants noted that in the results of the work done from the moment of the previous meeting that took place in Erevan on September 6, 2012, it was made important steps on strengthening of contractual-legal base of cooperation.
Participants of the meeting have noted presence of huge potential for expansion of partnership and supported for activization of cooperation on such directions as energy, transport, textile industry and trade. In the course of the meeting it was noted necessity of establishment of more close ties in the field of agriculture and industrial processing of agricultural production.
In the course of meeting it was held exchange of views about perspectives of development of interstate dialogue in humanitarian sphere.
Tomorrow, Turkmen-Armenian Intergovernmental committee on economic cooperation will finish its meeting. In the results of its work it will be signed relevant protocol.
