As is known, the Turkmen leader, who deeply reveres Ahalteke horses and does various sports, prefers horse riding. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with his grandson visited Ahalteke Horse Breeding Complex located in the east of the capital at the foothills of the Kopetdag Mountains on the weekend.

Riding horses, the Turkmen leader told his grandfathers that Turkmen horses had the glorious history and they had won many competitions and international contests. The large-scale bright celebrations in honour of Ahalteke horses are arranged in our country.

The Turkmen leader told his grandson about the riding techniques and taught him to sit in the saddle and draw reins, noting that a rider must integrate with his horse and have the same rhythm of breathing.

After riding the horses, the Turkmen leader and his grandson brought their horses into the stalls where they took care of them. Then they left the horse breeding complex.
