Turkmen athletes have reached great successes in two large competitions of international level – world sambo championship (Salonika city, Greece) and jujitsu World Cup tournament (Yalta city, Ukraine). In the first competitions our compatriots have won 1 gold and 2 silver medals and in the next place 3 gold, 1silver and 1 bronze medal.
