The two-day high-level International Conference "Energy Security and Sustainable Development - the OSCE Perspective" that brought together the representatives of more than 60 countries of the world in the Turkmen capital closed.

The heads and high-ranking representatives of the international organizations, political and diplomatic circles of the OSCE member states, the world largest oil and gas companies, private sector as well as scientists arrived in Turkmenistan to take part in the forum.

Within the three thematic sessions the forum participants considered the conditions for development of the energy sector given the enhancement of the regional cooperation, the issues of the security of energy resources transportation and safety of the energy infrastructure as well as assistance to the sustainable solution of tasks in the spheres of energy, energy-saving and energy efficiency.
