Turkmen boxers continue performing successfully at the world championship that takes place in Kazakhstan. In the result of four days 5 of 7 athletes have entered the second round of the competitions.

One of them is a 22-year debut of adult world championship from Turkmenistan Aziz Achilov. His starting fight against Moroccan B. Haddioui in weight class up to 75 kg, where 48 boxers compete for medals was a true decoration of the tournament. From the first seconds of the duel our compatriot has delivered number of impressive blows on his opponent, knocking down him twice. After the last one, 4 seconds before the end of the first round referee in the ring K. Bagdanavichius from Lithuania had to stop the game and gave a victory to Turkmen athlete.

In the next fight of the world championship Aziz Achilov will box with A. Drenovak from Serbia who has been given number eight by seed.

We would remind you that, earlier among the other Turkmen boxers Zarip Jumayev (weight class up to 52 kg), Aziz Bebitov (weight class up to 64 kg), Serdar Hudayberdiyev (weight class up to 69kg) and Arslanbek Achilov (weight class up to 81 kg) have entered the second round of the world championship.
