The second day of the Asian Taekwondo Championship (ITF) brought eight medals to the Turkmenistan team. Our athletes gained four gold and four silver medals in the individual and team tournaments and the sequence of martial techniques - teul .

Gaygysyz Atabaev showed the best result in our team – he had no equal among the taekwondo practitioners on the Asian continent in the under 57 kg weight category. Our compatriot thrice raised to the highest step of the podium as he had won the gold medals in all the above mentioned tournaments.
