Turkmenistan-US Business Forum organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the US Embassy in Turkmenistan took place at the Turkmen State Institute of Transport and Communications.
It brought together the representatives of the member companies of Turkmenistan-US Business Council, including TERA International Group, Case New Holland, Bell Helicopter, Stewart Engineering, Microsoft, Wright State University, Motorola Solutions, Hewlett-Packard, among others. The Turkmen side was represented by the cabinet ministers, the heads and specialists of ministries and departments, the Academy of Sciences, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
In the first half of the day discussion focused on the priority areas of cooperation, such as transport and information and communication technology and partnership in the sphere of innovation. The cabinet ministers and the heads and specialists of ministries and departments of Turkmenistan held bilateral meetings with the representatives of the US business community.
