The two-day workshop organized in the framework of the joint project of the Central Commission for Elections and Referenda of Turkmenistan and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) “Enhancing the Electoral System and Processes in Turkmenistan” is taking place at the Grand Turkmen Hotel in the Turkmen capital. The aim of the forum is to study the international experience and national practices in the media coverage of the preparations and conduct of the parliamentary elections.

In this regard, emphasis was placed on the importance of studying international practices in this field with a view to adopt them during the parliamentary elections, which would be held in December this year.
