The International exhibition and scientific conference “Education, sports and tourism in the prosperous epoch of powerful state” completed its work in the capital’s “Sergi koshgi”.
During three days, main Exhibition Center of the country served as a place for holding of traditional presentations from permanent participants and debutants of this annual representative international forum, but also wide vocation guided platform for the Turkmen youth – future prospective students of the higher educational establishments of our country as well as far and near abroad. Participation in the forum of numerous delegations of different national and foreign higher educational institutions has favored this. They presented the exhibition visitors detailed and interesting information on wide spectrum of specialties and modern teaching methods in these higher educational establishments.
Moreover, the sectional meetings of the conference on vital issues of development of education, sports and tourism took place in four higher schools – the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly, Turkmen State Institute of Economy and Management, National Institute of Sports and Tourism, and Turkmen Agricultural University.
In the course of the forum, new forms of cooperation on strengthening and further development of international partnership in the system of education were also tested in practice.
So, for example, all three days of work of the International Exhibition, the educational fair of the higher educational establishments of Ukraine took place in tens of exhibition halls of “Sergi koshgi”. The first session of the Council of Chancellors of Turkmenistan and Ukraine held within the framework of the forum also became new format of the Turkmen-Ukrainian cooperation in this sphere.
The signing ceremony of Memorandum on cooperation between higher school of diplomacy of our country and Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine was held at capital’s another higher educational institution – the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
Within the framework of the forum, introductory excursions were organized for the guests of our country. During these excursions, they visited the Fine Arts Museum of Turkmenistan, State Museum of the Turkmen State Cultural Center, “Ylham” park and other sights of the Turkmen capital.
