International oil and gas forum has completed its work. Within its framework, it was held the exhibition “Oil and gas of Turkmenistan – 2013” and 18th conference entitled “International cooperation in oil and gas sector of Turkmenistan: potential, attainments and priorities”.
In the course of the work of three-day forum, the officials of structural subdivisions of the national fuel-energy complex and their prospective partners have discussed the issues of prospects and strategic trends of interaction in this sphere.
Within the framework of the work of this forum, it was signed the Service Agreement with Transactional Counselor between “Turkmengas” State Concern, Afghan Gas Corporation, “Interstategassystems (Private) limited” Corporation (Pakistan), “Gail (India) limited Company (India) and Asian Development Bank on Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline.
Among major topics discussed at the forum, it is worth mentioning the possibility to realize the Turkmen gas deliveries to Europe, including due to construction of Trans-Caspian gas pipeline.
In the course of the work of the exhibition and conference, all participants got exhaustive information on state and key trends of development of oil and gas sector of Turkmenistan, determined the spheres of possible cooperation of efforts and investments as well as exchanged accumulated experience of interaction.
