The two-day seminar organized within the framework of cooperation of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and the Promotion of Information and Communication Technology in Turkmenistan (PICTT) Project of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) implemented by the International Research and exchange board (IREX) started in the Turkmen capital.

IREX Advisor on electronic and mixed education Professor Harald Herrig participated in the seminar as an international expert. The leading specialists and representatives of a number of scientific and research institutions of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, the National Institute of education of Turkmenistan, the Institute of International Relations under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the International Oil and Gas University, the Turkmen State Institute of Culture and others take part in the seminar.

The seminar participants exchanged their views on Turkmenistan's experience of using the various forms of the electronic training in the educational process in y=the institutions of higher education of the country.

Those taken part in the seminar will have a chance to learn more about the world experience and educational standards applied as well as the modern methods of teaching in the electronic format and use of various communication technologies in the electronic training, including the Moodle format.
