At the Parliament of Turkmenistan, it was held a meeting with the members of delegation at the head of the first deputy chairperson of the Executive Committee - Executive Secretary of the Commonwealth of Independent States Vladimir Garkun, who arrived in the Turkmen capital in composition of the Mission of observers from CIS, which will realize the monitoring of upcoming elections of deputies of the national parliament in our country.

The subject of interested view exchange became the issues related to regular parliamentary elections in Turkmenistan as well as vital trends of cooperation within the framework of CIS taking into account available multi-aspect potential for interaction and modern actualities.

It was highly appreciated the efforts of Turkmenistan aimed at further development of constructive cooperation within the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States, strengthening of traditionally friendly, good-neighborly relations between countries of the Commonwealth.
