Turkmen Wushu wrestlers’ victory

The Turkmen Wushu wrestlers won thirteen medals of the Open Wushu Championships in Berlin which was held under the aegis of the European Wushu Federation (EWUF). The competitions brought together sportsmen from 12 countries, including Belarus, Germany, Italy, Columbia, Kazakhstan, Norway, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Switzerland who competed in the five age categories.

The students of the Wushu National Federation of Turkmenistan gained the victories in the full contact fighting event (Sanshou). B. Babaev, R. Rahimov, Ch. Taganklychev and G.Jumaniyazov won four gold medals. B. Orazmamedov, A. Durdyev and the students of the Turkmen National Institute for Tourism and Sports V. Yazberdyev, I. Nuryev and girls A. Rahimova and D. Amandurdyeva won the silver medals. M.Bayramov, K.Yazgulyev and a student of the Turkmen Polytechnic Institute B. Kulhanov are the bronze medal winners.

Ya. Annamuradov, Chairman of the Wushu National Federation of Turkmenistan and senior coach of the national team of Turkmenistan prepared the team for the competitions.
