Presentation of the book of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “Akhalteke – our pride and glory” published in the Romanian language was held at the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly. This fact became another confirmation of increasing interest in Turkmenistan and cultural heritage of the Turkmen people all over the world.


The representatives of the Embassy of Romania, members of the government of Turkmenistan, officials and leading specialists of the higher educational establishments, numerous workers of the education sphere, mass media and student youth took part in presentation of the unique work published in the language of friendly country.


As is known, the book of the President of Turkmenistan was published in autumn 2008 and became a real best-seller, drawing a wide international response. This work of the head of state became original historical chronicle devoted to “heavenly horses” – the model of beauty and perfection as Akhalteke horses are called by right.
