Deferred match of the 11th round of the second lap of the first Hockey Championship of Turkmenistan of 2013-2014 season was held on the ice arena of the capital’s Winter Sports Complex. Meeting of the teams “Galkan” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and “Shir” of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange became decisive game of the second lap so far as the leaders of the championship, who will be destined to determine the fate of the first place, appeared on the ice.
The victory in today’s match, first of all, was necessary for players of the team “Shir” and indeed in this state of affairs they would have upheld theoretical chances for the victory in the championship. The «Galkan» on the contrary, after 12 matches played with 36 scores certainly takes the first place in the championship table and in the current game it was enough a draw in regulation to become a champion ahead of schedule.

The first team will compete with the outsider of the competition – Sports School of the State Sports Committee and the second will meet with already reigning champion of Turkmenistan.
The fourth place in the championship table ensures “a chance” for the first cup of Turkmenistan, which will be held in spring. For this place also two teams claim – «Oghuzkhan» (19 scores) and Меrdana» (18 scores). Throwing lots, in the last tournament they will meet each other, so this match will be very interesting.
Final matches of the championship will be held on the upcoming weekend in the sports complex for winter sports.
